Shipping and Returns

We ship USPS to the continental United States and Canada only. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii will be sent USPS and you will be charged accordingly. Insurance is required on all USPS orders. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE IN CANADA, YOU MAY ALSO BE CHARGED CUSTOMS FEES BEFORE THEY WILL GIVE YOU YOUR BOX. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER. 

UPS raised their rates for 2015, and in addition they are using dimensional weight.  This has resulted in drastic increases in shipping prices, therefore we are no longer shipping UPS.  In many cases, UPS was nearly twice as much as Priority mail.  


Please note that we only offer Priority mail and Express mail services, no flat rate boxes or parcel post, sorry.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  I have kept my UPS account active, but if I ship UPS, there is a $4-$15 charge for pick up, so if you do not want  your order sent USPS, you will be charged any additional pick up fees for UPS delivery.


The shipping calculator does not account for the size of a box, which might result in higher shipping charges than quoted.  You will be contacted if this occurs for approval of the higher shipping charges.


Please note that the shipping calculator is not often accurate when figuring expedited shipping, because expedited shipping is based on weight and dimension of the box, and the shipping calculator associated with our online ordering only calculates shipping according to weight. If shipping is more than it calculates, you will be contacted for approval for additional shipping charges. 


If you are sending your order through the mail and paying using a check or money order, USPS Priority mail shipping is an estimated $12.00 for the first single model or $13.00 first gift set; $1.00 each additional model/set (UNLESS otherwise specified for a specific model, such as porcelains, Breyer truck, and Breyer trailer). Items such as Stablemates, Paddock Pals, Companion animals (individual pieces), and certain Breyer Tack items are not necessarily $1.00 each. If you would like an exact shipping quote, please call (269) 783-0624 or send an email, and in the email please be sure to provide your USPS deliverable address and the items you wish to order for a shipping quote. If you do not send enough for shipping charges, there will be a delay in processing your order. However, if you miscalculate an excess of shipping charges, you will receive a refund, or if you are using a credit card, your card will be charged less. 

Please note that we ship from Michigan, and the further away the order ships, the more it costs.  Shipping may be as much as $18 for one model, depending on your zip code.  

If you send your order through the mail, PLEASE be sure to include and email or phone number in case you do not include enough for shipping.  Otherwise, your order will be held while we send a letter and wait for the balance due.  

For online orders, every effort has been made to give accurate shipping charges. If for some reason, the shipping charges are going to be MORE than what is quoted, you will be sent an email to inform you of the actual shipping charges prior to your order being processed so that you can approve the amount. If the shipping charges are going to be significantly LESS than what is quoted, you will not receive an email, but the amount charged to your account will be less. If you request that an item be sent faster than Priority, you will be automatically charged the actual shipping charges. 

Credit card orders will not be held for single shipments when they contain items that are in stock or become available more than 45 days before other items will be available. For example, if you were to order an item which is not available until March along with other items that are available in January, the order will not be held until June for the other item. You will have the option of canceling the later item(s) or paying an additional shipping charge for multiple shipments. Orders paid for in advance by check/money order can be held for complete shipment, although you can always pay for multiple shipments if you like. 


If you receive an item that is damaged in shipping or defective, please keep ALL packing materials (including the box) and contact us immediately so that we can file a claim for the damage. You must contact us within THREE days of receiving merchandise that has been damaged in shipping. We will make arrangements for you to receive a replacement item. 

If you wish to return an item that is not defective, please contact us within THREE days of receiving the item, either through email or by phone. The item must be in the original box, in brand new condition, and not removed from the ties. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges to send the item back.  If you refuse a package, return shipping charges will also apply.


If you have a defective item or an item you wish to return that is not defective, you MUST contact us within three days of receiving the item(s) or there will be a 15% restocking fee. The ONLY exeption to this would be items ordered for Christmas gifts that are defective. You must contact us within FOUR days of Christmas to return your item. NO Exceptions, sorry. 


If you do not contact us prior to returning your item(s), there will be a 20% restocking fee. Please do not send back merchandise without contacting us via email or phone. 

Returns are not accepted for used or consignment models.
