The Model Trading Post has been an Authorized Breyer® Model Horse Dealer since 1991. We have great prices on all of our items, and most items are at least 25% off of suggested retail. We have a large inventory of new in the box models at all times, including Porcelain horses, Traditional sized, Classic sized, Stablemates, and Wildlife. We also have a large inventory of consignment models.

IMPORTANT information on the 2024 models.
Most of the 2024 models have come in! We will be accepting pre-order deposits on the new 2024 models that are not in stock when an order is placed (this includes the 2024 Christmas collection and the Halloween horse). Please be sure to click on the item to read the description, which will include the MAAP or actual price of the model, as well as anticipated availability dates. ALL deposits are not refundable, but can be applied to something else if you want to cancel or change your order. Effective January 1, 2024, any refunded orders will include a 5% fee to cover the cost of the paypal fee that is not refunded to us if you request a refund for your order. Availability dates may change, and this is beyond our control. Every effort is made to keep customers posted on delays in availability. If you order multiple models and not all of them are available to send at once, you have the option of sending all of the models at once or having multiple shipments, but you will be charged all actual shipping charges. Halloween models and Christmas models that are pre-ordered will ship separately, your order will not be held for those to arrive, so please place separate pre-orders for Christmas and Halloween.

IMPORTANT information on shipping, please read before ordering.
The shipping calculator does not account for the size of a box, which might result in higher shipping charges than quoted. Oversize is anything bigger than 12 x 12 x 12, which basically amounts to anything that is larger than two traditional models. The further you are from Michigan, the more it will cost you. If your box is oversized, you will receive a Paypal invoice for the balance due if you were not charged enough when you placed the order, which can be paid for with Paypal or a credit card. The amount must be paid before your order ships, or you can cancel your order. There is no way for the shipping calculator to calculate an oversized box. You pay what it actually costs for shipping, plus insurance if the models total more than $100. By the same token, if the shipping calculator charges you signifcantly more than it costs to ship your order, you would also receive a partial refund. Please be sure to click on the model picture to go to the description of the item. This will tell you if the model is in stock, or when it is expected to be in stock. For consignment/used models, there will be a description of the model and any flaws it might have.
Consignment Breyer® Model Horses
The Model Trading Post also has a fast growing inventory of consignment Breyer® model horses, as well as the occasional Peter Stone model horse or Hagen-Renaker figurines. Collectors send their models to us and we evaluate their condition, take pictures, and list them on our website for a nominal fee. We get new items in each month, so be sure to keep checking back with us! If you are interested in selling your models on a consignment basis, we are happy to send you information on how it all works.
